  • If you enjoy finding out about the history of an area then this attraction is up there with the best . Make sure you tag on to one of the guided tours by the knowledgeable local guides. 
  • Look around the original workshops and living quarters at leisure. The site dates back around 200 years. A modern visitor centre and cafe is located just inside the entrance.
  • Kids had a great time watching two blacksmiths at work (one was working on replica of Henry V's sword). Plenty to see for an afternoon and all the staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. A great afternoon.
