Bartons Point Coastal Park is set within 40 Acres of beautiful green space and includes a salt water lake - perfect for fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing and remote control boating; a 9 hole Pitch and Putt course; a Pirate themed Adventure Playground; a Sculpture Trail; the Boathouse Cafe which serves good quality hot and cold food and refreshments; and provides idyllic lakeside camping. the Park is also home to the Sheppey Miniature Engineering Society and Steam Railway, the Sheppey Sea Cadet Corps and the Model Flying Club, as well as providing a large FREE Car Park and Toilet facilities to all who visit us.

  • Amazing place. Lovely walks round the lake. Beautiful scenery. A well maintained and clean park for the kids. Miniature golf. Boat hire. Model steam railway. Who needs more for an afternoon out.
  • Excellent food, brilliant play park for the kids with ample things to keep them occupied. Also, excellent boating lake that has alot of activites on at weekends
  • Beautiful scenery and lots of trails to spend time walking around. Always events on during the Summer so be sure to check local papers. Nice little cafĂ© down by the lake, pretty cheap too. Great place to take the dog for a walk and a few poop bins scattered around. All in all a nice place for the family and outdoorsy among you

  • Nice miniature railway at weekends.
