  • Very good for walking, wildlife and even industrial archaeology! However it excels at birdwatching. Good hides around the lakes and wetlands.  more »

  • Good for wildfowl and woodland birds. Little ringed plovers nest here. Also good for damselfy watching.
  • A beautiful reserve, well laid out and peaceful - enjoyed a lovely late afternoon walk here while visiting the area.
  • Nice Coffee shop and center. Great walks and hides to watch and photography the wildlife good day out
  • Great for wildlife and plants, very tranquil, also has bird watching hides and great set up for kids with a welcome canter and disabled access
  • This is always a great place for a walk even if you're not into birds. There are essentially two trails north and south of the lake with some side paths. It's very peaceful and the shop and teashop are great. Somewhere I like to go when I want some air.
