  • Had a whale of a time. Did the orienteering package which the kids loved. There's an outdoor play area with zip wire. Inside there's a museum and also a cafe which makes scrummy cakes. Be warned that ...  more »

  • Beautiful location with a lot of activities. The hiking trails are beautiful, the house itself is quite magnificent and the Saturday ranger programs are a lot of fun for the kids. We especially love there adventure playground and the checkers board. The cafe has great food and the entire place has kind, caring and energetic staff always willing to lend a hand or a word of advice when needed.
  • Hours of fun for the kids. We stayed for only an hour and a half but it would've been easy to spend twice as long there.
  • Really good lovely views
  • Fantastic Country Park and House. Very Pleasant and courteous staff. Quite simply one of the best laid out and well maintained country parks I have been to. Loads for kids to do and see. A big hand to the staff at Bowhill.
  • Staff are all very polite and helpful. The house and surrounding grounds/walks are outstanding! Recommended for all ages.. :-)
