  • I visited this museum as I'm a history buff, and am interested in Martello Towers, but I didn't expect too much. The building is interesting, and there's some good info about Martellos in it, but the....  more »
  • Although it looks small from the outside it is like the tardis when you get inside. There was so much to see and brought back many childhood memories. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall great...  more »
  • We had not expected the Museum to be there; our plan was just to walk to the Martello Tower just to have a look. Finding that it included a museum was a real treat. Although small, the museum...  more »

  • A real Tardis. Great insights into local history. Lovely shop tableaux. Section on audio history is terrific. Recently improved access for all. Plenty of free parking adjacent.
  • good day out for all the family come rain or shine
  • A absolute must visit it's like going back in time and by looking from to outside the martello tower looks small yet by the time you walk down the stairs it just opens up underneath the beach and road as the martello towers were originally designed as underground fortresses with a cannon on top to defend our great coastlines and country from invaders the martello towers go along the south coast and up the East coast line I have visited most of them but Seaford martello tower is my favourite just a few miles along from Newhaven fort which is another great place to visit. I don't want to spoil it for you but it is an amazing place to visit! Ps You can also sit just next to the martello tower and enjoy the view from the little tea hut with a nice cup of rosie lea ( tea) and have something to eat with the kids to. Well Recommend top Marks museum a full 5 stars from me *****
  • An interesting museum which is a must see for those visiting Seaford. They manage to use the small space really well and it is certainly worth seeing. Nearby parking is good. Staff are friendly. Overall a really good place to visit for a day out in the area.
  • Very interesting with the local history but also lots of other unrelated items such as historic computers,Tv sets ,washing machines, shop fronts and even a cinema projection room. There is ample free parking along the sea front with up to 12 hours before you get a penalty charge.
