  • These are old cottages, now very close to the cliff edge not too far from the beach at Cuckmere Haven. I believe they have been used for scenes in several films and TV shows. Looking down at the...  more »
  • Pleasant cottages very close to the cliff, they are just part of the view on a ;pleasant coastal walk, nothing special, although they are very close to the cliff edge. One good storm and a bit of...  more »
  • What a stunning place to visit! We only walked down a ways to take some photos before moving on, half hour would be enough though it would have been lovely to walk around if the the time permitted as....  more »
  • Iconic, not to be missed photo opportunity. Breathtakingly beautiful whatever the weather. Nature at its best. Great walks across the cliff top from either Seaford or Eastbourne. If you'd like a gentler walk suitable for pushchairs or those unsteadier, catch the number 12 bus or park at Cuckmere. A flat pathway then takes you down to the beach.
  • You can view the seven clips from this point. The route itself is beautiful to reach the cottages. Lush green field, you will find sheep grazing in the field. Go on a sunny day; otherwise clouds could cover your view.
  • STUNNING views! Do yourself a favor and lend yourself enough time to get both the full view of the Seven Sisters (Coastguard Cottages) and time this trek over the river and down the Sister's to Birling Gap. We took the bus into the park and ended up catching a bus in East Dean to get home, worked out great. The sounds, the sights, the smells, it was truly magical. Bring plenty of water and SPF!
  • Fantastic views of Seven Sister (White Cliffs of Dover). Excellent walk. Peaceful and tranquil. Parking facility not too far away. Cafe and toilets around Visitor Centre. Would suggest at least 2-4 hrs depending on how much walking you want to do.
  • This place is just beautiful. We went on Saturday in the afternoon when the tide was down. The afternoon looks beautiful against the cliffs; as they are white they reflect all the colours beautifully. We tried to walk to the beginning of the cliff but we didn't want to get our shoes wet. My recommendation is to take boots to walk around the water. Does not look fit for camping near the beach. There are some beautiful rivers behind, and the mountain to the back.
