  • Went there a few times, loved the castle but my favorite part was the lake with its birds, i got to see some brown squirrels also. Its a must see if you are in the area
  • Nice castle to visit with very knowledgable guides to inform visitors about the castle history. It is worth the climb up to the turret for a wonderful view.
  • A fascinating castle, the rooms are simply stunning with the guides in each room very friendly and informative. The best bit is the views from the rooftop on a clear sunny day. Well kept gardens also
  • Best place close by me. Ancient castle currently housing Aberdeen Art Gallery's temporary exhibition; beautiful woodland walks; and a great play park for the kids. And there's the amazing rose garden too. Oh and the water garden. Oh and all those other walks in the estate ... Oh and the garden centre close by that does great good value food... and so on.
  • Lovely walled garden and the rose collection with spectacular. We spent a few hours exploring the gardens, and then visited the cafe, which is set in the old kitchens!
  • Went for a dog walk with 25 other Dachshunds, had a great time. A lovely castle, beautiful forest walk and very well maintained grounds.
  • Because i was going to Glasgow using some secondary roads, so unfortunatly i could not wait for the Castle to open (10.30 - 17.00). Anyway i have passed here at 7am and was able to take some really nice pictures of the Castle. Maybe next time i wait to get in
  • Great little tea room at this charming castle and topped off with a superb garden and many walks.
