  • I thoroughly recommend Samlesbury Hall. Wonderful staff, engaging tour guide and a beautiful day out. I was part of a group and we had a meal in the Great Hall which was a fabulous setting. The food was delicious and the staff were so polite, respectful and friendly, which is rare nowadays. The whole group were raving about it on our journey back and there wasn't one bad comment or complaint, fabulous. Well done the Tour Guide for engaging all those people for an hour and a half, involving the crowd and she never stopped talking. She was both entertaining and knowledgeable and it felt like only half an hour had passed! Thank you and I will recommend it to friends and family 😀😀😀😀😀 Eileen Nolan
  • Love love love Samlesbury Hall. The moment we first visited we knew this was where we wanted to get married, and get married we did! Angela and the staff were all amazing and went above and beyond for us. We've been here a couple times in the afternoons leading up to the wedding and each time loved spending time here having afternoon tea or seeing their animals. Lovely bit of history preserved!
  • Did the tour on Sunday 13th Nov Our tour guide was the Salmesbury witch, she was brilliant , and brought the history to life , it felt like you where living it. All that and no charge just a donation. Well done !!great day out. Also the food in the restaurant was really good service spot on . Well worth a visit.
  • Fabulous place. Amazing ice cream. Left to wonder around the hall. Plenty of things to see around the site, learn about bees, animals etc. Recommend you visit the ice cream parlour/cafe they sell the usual things and old fashioned sweets, gift packs, maje sure you call in.
  • Historic house. Ice cream, cafe, antiques shop. Discover the history either solo or with the great role play guides. Family and adult event's. Lots of parking within the grounds.
