A brilliant down to earth place, great for kids to get up close to lots of aircraft and to not have to worry about not touching stuff - it's practically encouraged here! My five year old loved it...
Amazing aircraft, awesome staff who know there stuff and great for younger kids because they can dress up in fighter pilot suits and helmets!

A fantastic experience for children and aviation enthusiasts alike. My 7 & 10yr old sons enjoyed dressing-up in flight suits and wearing helmets to "play" in Tornado, Harrier, Jaguar, Hunter and many other cockpits. They were able to flick switches, move throttle and stick and switch lights on and off. I enjoyed seeing some rare old jets along with more familiar ones from my time working in the RAF and, presently, QinetiQ, at the Empire Test Pilots School, Boscombe Down. The volunteers who look after the exhibits are enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Collection. ... My Grandfathers Cousin was a member of the Flying Club here.... Easy to understand why. ....
Absolutely amazing fun to go in all the plane cockpits, great for picture taking as you can wear flight suits and helmets too! Also good to see the conservation work they are currently working on! The flight simulator they have is one of three in the UK and is an absolute blast!
