  • Rough, unaltered piece of history, even when unable to get inside, enjoy the nature around it. Free to roam around it
  • Well preserved ruins. Wasn't open over New Years though. It just made a good target to get to on the dog walk. Best parking in Rye and walking over.
  • beautiful location to walk to and spend an afternoon among the sheep!
  • One of my favourite castles of all time. It might not be a fantastic building, overall atmosphere of abandoned castle in a middle of the fields is absolutely awesome.
  • We love this old castle. Walkable from the coast. Great walk on a summers day
