  • We often pass through ruthin on our way home and stop here to check out an exhibition and have something to eat in the great cafe. A lovely spot full of interest.  more »
  • The exhibitions here uniquely combine fine art with craft. I've never come across another gallery anywhere in the world that has such a fascinating series of exhibitions of objects that are quite clea...  more »
  • All though the BLT I had was very tasty. It just felt like a canteen Bit to open for my liking, if something could be done to improve the acoustics / feel then 4-5 stars!  more »
  • Always a pleasure to visit the craft centre, exhibition space, shop and café. The art exhibitions are usually well thought out and presented. We’ve just been to see Julia Griffiths Jones’ Room within a Room. It was very engaging and we enjoyed how light was used to enhance the work. Great!
  • . Pleasant but all a bit sad. It was sad to visit the Ruthin Craft Centre. :-( So many people had invested time, effort, money and heart into setting up shops and exhibitions that were attractive but ignored by the public, unfortunately. I doubt if local people are much in the market for what they were selling, and this isn't Oxford with hordes of high-spending tourists milling around. I looked hard to see something to buy, but there was nothing that I needed, and one or two attractive items that caught my eye were priced out of my budget for a sympathy purchase. Sad, very sad. If you can spare 10-15 minutes to go there, it needs customers. But there is now precious little to buy, with a lovely Jewellery shop just closed. The concern I have is that the whole place will shut down, which would make the lovely Cafe-R homeless. It is the only thriving business there, and justifiably so since it is excellent. .
  • What a fabulous day out! A lovely environment to view Applied Art and craft. Lovely food in the cafe, lots to buy in the shop and plenty of FREE hands on activities for the kids. Highly recommended xx
  • Good cafe, amazing prices for art works ( I mean that in the "how much, you must be joking" sense.
  • Absolutely gorgeous little craft centre with café and activities
