Great to see some old black and white shots of the sixties . Well presented great seeing the photos of the early days of Theatre and Education shot in Coventry. There are some more modern photographs ...  more »

We were Rugby, which is located nearby in Warwick and Coventry, which were our favorite destinations but a high in this village/town which gives its name to the sport's more famous among English, French, Welsh... etc and visited the Museum of Rugby, which is located in a modern building with adequate facilities, but there will be to spend more than one hour of our time to stroll through Rugby recommended

Beautiful collection that combines the historical to modern rugby, great videos in their original language, collecting trophies and legends of Rugby. The cost is more than reasonable.

  • Yesterday, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 150 family visitors at the Museum's space-themed "Night at your Museum" event. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the gallery space prepared just as I had requested, with numerous helpers on hand. The evening was very well organised with all groups prepared and briefed on time. The excited family groups enjoyed peering up at the planetarium night sky and travelling through the Solar System across the galaxy all the way to the edge of the known Universe. Thank you Rugby Art Gallery and Museum for a very pleasant event.
  • Great concept and yes, Rugby should have a museum or something to celebrate that it the game was born here. However this display is mostly made up of stuff I can find on the internet. Very big photos, big screens showing matches, some text to read, and not much else. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. A museum full of artefacts, along with this stuff is what is needed.
  • Not much of a museum, but hey what do you expect in rugby there's jack to do here and this rubbish is the main passtime aparently.
  • Cute 10-15 minutes museum that tells us the history of this sport.
  • We've been to quite a few family events at the library and the museum and they're always very good and interesting for the kids. I think its really important to support the local library and museum and we do come often. Look forward to seeing how the new displays look!
