  • Favourite place in Lancashire. Love a stroll round gardens . House interesting and homely. Cafe ok.
  • Excellent guided talks around the Hall and gardens, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Food at the cafe was fantastic and the day was very well worth it.
  • Fantastic gardens, historic property, nice cafe, easy to get to and to park. Everything needed for a relaxing day out.
  • A beautiful Tudor black and white timber building with some 500 years of history. The Tudor Great Hall is a definite must see. Also there is potential for the Hall to be used as a wedding venue for prospective couples. A definite must visit.
  • Lovely national trust venue. The volunteers were very helpful and informative.
