  • The Dutch pancake house is an amazing place. Really friendly and homely and affordable. Staff are great and food is superb. There is also a little aquatic shop there that sells a small range of tropical fish and some reptiles. There stock is healthy and cheap. And if your lucky enough to for the younger girl in her 20's to serve you with the piercings etc you will be made up. Shes the most lovely energetic person I have ever met. And not only knows her fish really well, is actually extremely passionate about fish and pets in general. There is a small walk to be had around the two fishing ponds but I will be honest I feel the name water gardens is slightly misplaced. The place is well worth a visit and you can get round everywhere in about an hour.
  • Fantastic morning. There are otters here too but didn't get a photo. Pancakes at the Pancake House are delicious, booking recommended. Or put your name down as soon as you get there and then go and see the animals/ walk the nature trail. Had a brilliant time.
  • Very disappointing. Lakes covered in green algae. Is dog friendly. Best place was the Dutch pancake house. Yummy food. If you have dogs you eat outside but they have blankets to wrap around you.
  • I was so excited when I picked up the leaflet to find a place that was free and accessible for my mother in a wheelchair. We arrived and all was well, we made straight for the Dutch Pancake House, which was a great find, with a lovely view of the pond. Three of us had the delicious Dutch Pancakes, with hot cherries and cream. My Dad was less impressed with his, which looked like a ham and pineapple pizza. However, he was in a hard to please mood, and looked with envy at our choices. Next we decided to look for the Capybaras and Otters, and embarked on the nature trail. This was a very bumpy ride for my mother in her chair. Plus the path was not flat for most of the trail, which required the stronger members of the group to push the chair uphill and then down again. On the leaflet it shows disabled access bridges which were the easiest part of the trail, it also states that all areas of the park are accessible by wheelchair. I challenge members of staff and owners of the Conway Water Park to try the nature trail in a wheelchair, and then decide whether it is an accessible trail. I rated this visit 3/5 purely due to limited access for my mother.
  • There's a lovely dog and child friendly walk through some woods with a few small animals to see. It's not big enough to spend a long time at but if you're nearby then it's well worth a visit. The Dutch pancake cafe was very good. Lovely pancakes (we had sweet pancakes, but there's a huge selection of savory ones too) and friendly staff.
