Enjoyable place to take the kids, feed some animals and grab a bite to eat at the café. Nice, fun and importantly pretty cheap. Could be vastly improved with newer modern facilities, but as a working farm the existing layout and basic facilities work well.
Just been today and had the best time. It's a proper working farm so yes it's muddy and a bit tatty around the edges BUT you are on a farm and you get to properly see and feed the animals, stroke them, see them in the fields and in the barns, cows and calfs, sheep and lambs, goats, llamas, rabbits, guinea pigs, meerkats, donkeys, ponies, pigs and piglet,. It doesn't feel commercial and it doesn't cost a fortune and actually I've just realised we spent the whole time with the animals and forgot the play barn. There was a playground and hay bails and some trampolines, a plant area with plants for sale and a cafe. I'll definitely go again
It was good especially the animal farm. First time I stroked farm animals... good experience
What a waste of time. Food in the cafe terrible, how do you get a crispy pork pie? and the 'farm' shop only had cheap kids toys, no actual food
Great little farm. Great day out. Weekends expect to wait a while for food in the café though.
