  • A pleasant walk round of 1.75 miles. Might get a bit busy at the weekend but we went mid-week. Had a nice drink and cake at the cafe. The cafe has a 5 rating for cleanliness so I suspect the negative ...  more »
  • Should have been an enjoyable afternoon, but this was spoilt by the cafe being very dirty, tables not cleared, food of poor quality.  more »
  • It's alright to have a quick walk around. A lot of flies and midges about. The park is not amazing but it's okay.  more »

  • A lovely little park. Not much to do, but the kids loved the little park and feeding the ducks. The cafe is great for a snack and to relax while you watch people walk and play.
  • The place is kept clean and tidy l think cycling allowed dogs on leads ducks and canadian geese are there lots of pigeons small catering cafe. Indoor toilets. choices of dinners steak pies with chips plently of car spaces and a round trip path all the way round the lake round
  • Parking on site is £1.60 all day not £1.50 like it says on the website. You can buy a ticket either from the machine or from the ice cream parlour. Great for a run around, especially on a lovely day!
  • Beautiful views pram accessible. Nice little Cafe with lakeside view for a tea or coffee. Easy convenient nature outing with family. Only downside you have to pay for parking £1.5 for the day.
  • We go regularly never seen any litter though it can be muddy as expected from a nature walk so need your wellies in the winter. Cafe does an excellent value for money breakfast. Not good for coffee as it's from a machine with powdered milk but other than that a lovely family experience and it has a playgplayground
