A gentle walk around the lake will take about an hour or so. Various birds and shrubs/trees as you walk around, interesting. Then reward yourself with a nice cup of coffee and cake at the café! more »

Went yesterday with my grandchildren to feed the ducks and swans. Have a walk round go on the play area. Then we saw people making scarcrows. All the things was provided to make the scarcrows was free. We had a really good time. We went last year to the Halloween trail it was fantastic. 😊

The lake is a perfect size for a walk. There are a couple of cafés and both are good. There are toilets and a small playground for children.

Nice place to walk the dog and grab a drink. Parking is limited at busy times and the cost to park is a little steep if you are only doing one circuit of the reservoir. It can be hit or miss as a dog walker. Generally most are responsible dog owners who can control their dogs or keep them on their leads. I've had a few unfortunate encounters with dog aggressive dogs who have not been on a leads and their owners have been, to be fair worse than their unruly pooches.

Great place to spend an afternoon with a good cafe which cooks a good breakfast and lunch, also there is an ice-cream parlour next door with a nice toilet block with wheelchair access. The lake is a nice to walk round with plenty of seats and plenty of ducks and swans to feed.

Lovely place. Takes around 45 mins to walk round the whole lake. I'm disabled and went round on my mobility scooter without any problems.
