  • A very beautiful castle, I wonder how much wonderful it would have been with its complete structure! A small valley below, a river, nice sceneries and woodland. Although the chapel nearby is well preserved and fabulous but this also worth a visit.
  • Chapel more interesting than castle. Have been visiting both for 40+ years after coming down from the north since my maternal grandmother is a Sinclair (and there's some on my father's side too). They say the Sinclairs and Barclays came to Scotland with Queen (Saint) Margaret, before the Norman invasion of 1066. They are both Norman names.
  • Wonderful place, steeped in history. Lots of walks, lovely woodland, a castle and a river. What's not to like?
  • Roslin Country Park is a great location to take the kids out for a walk. It has a river, a valley, a castle and the famous chapel. Be aware that the castle has some low walls with a big drop to the ground below so please supervise the kids.
  • Ruin of the castle, little is left but worth seeing
