  • Nothing better to celebrate the turn of the seasons than a walk through the Bluebells then to enjoy an afternoon tea served my members of the family at this typical English country home estate.  more »

  • This is an amazing and little known place to visit, and seems to be little known. Under the ownership of the Barham family 1911, this is a private residence. Beautiful walks all round, beautiful statu...  more »

  • We recently enjoyed a thoroughly delightful visit to these charming, friendly and welcoming family run gardens. Although we were a few days too early in the season to see the bluebells in full bloom, the magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas and daffodils were particularly stunning . The gently sloping woodland walk was manageable for my elderly father. The cafe was light and airy with a courtyard area for warmer days and extra seating for busy days. It serves light lunches of sandwiches, salads, soup, quiche and cake. The lemon cake was a particular hit with my children. We spent a lovely few hours here.
  • Fantastic day out! Beautiful place for walk and take photos!! Great food
  • Very welcoming with good simple food at a fair price. Formal gardens delightful and the walk through the woods full of interest. Lovely peaceful view from the front of the house looking up to the obelisk. Richard Petts Wood M U.
  • Beautiful grounds and the bluebell woodland are stunning. The largest concentration of bluebells I have ever seen. Highly recommend coming here for bluebell season. Everyone - staff, visitors and animals - were very friendly and it's not full of visitors which is great. It feels like you have the whole place to yourself. Good facilities - clean toilets and lovely cafe, and plenty of parking.
  • You must go and see the Bluebell's, they are wonderful.
