  • I often walk with my friend around Healey Dell , it is a magical place with lots of history and wildlife, the different seasons offer something different.

  • I enjoyed the nature and I'm Sure the the dogs did to. However one of the downfalls was that there was no bins in the nature reserve so we had to carry full poo bags and someone decided to dump there....  more

  • Beautiful and tranquil, great for a lovely walk, you can do long or short distances to suit you and can pick to stay on the flat path or go off path and explore. Highly recommend
  • Nice walk, some river rapids, viaducts, wood carvings and forests. Really nice place for a walk. Probably took us a couple of hours to walk the whole place.
  • I lived within a few miles as a kid. Didn't visit until I was 60. Beautiful spot. Absolutely smothered in tracks. I rode a folding ebike and it easily went through the "kissing gates". Sadly half the access roads are closed at the moment. So you may have to do some reversing at busy times. Will go again.
  • Very pretty with some old industrial history. Great to see nature taking back to space when buildings are. Could do with more signage, we got lost. Tea room food is fantastic, we will be back
  • No signage telling us where anything was, so turned back and did not get to see the Dell. Any tips on where to walk would be great.. does anybody know the best place to park also (my satnav took me down a narrow road and they road was closes after a few metres, so had to walk the rest of the way.. well down to the dell tearooms and could not find which way to walk)
