Informative, friendly and fun. We were in a very small group of only 5 which was great. Beer tasting before and after with no limits. I suggest you don't drive and go for the later tour! more »
Me and my fiancée went here for our anniversary on the 28th of August 2016 and were very happy with the tour. My fiancée usually drinks Rosé and doesn't like ales, she now likes ales! :-) The guys who run it John and Haydn are very proud with the work they do and have a good sense of humour. I haven't been on any beer tours before but from what we heard from people when we were back in the bar was that they were only entitled to one pint at many other places. Here you can have as much as you like or as little as you like. You start off in the bar (a nice cold beer is waiting which is kept refilled should you want it) and then you go round the brewery and see how everything is made from start to finish and end up back in the bar. You are advised to enjoy yourself and drink as much or as little as you want of any of their four beers in 30mins as they close afterwards. You even get to pour your own drinks and get to keep the mug after too. I would highly recommend here it is a great laugh and learn some very interesting facts. We had left the car at our accomadation because I read some of the older reviews and thought it would be smart. Best to leave your car at the hotel if you would like some drinks. We returned the next day to buy some beers from the shop, we left with a full boot near enough! An all round great experience and well worth the money. I would happily go again some other time.
Fantastic brewery tour, our guide was very knowledable, knew the original head brewer ....afterwards there were lots of drinks.
Did a course for my personal licence here, we went on the tour and it was really engaging. The staff were more than happy to answer questions and it was followed by a pint of your finest 😊
This place is amazing. If you are a beer lover I would highly recommend. And you get to try all of their products! :)
Great local brewery - the Ringwood Best is fantastic. Haven't been on the tour, but the shop is great, and they do polypins, firkins, barrels etc if you're having a party (or are just particularly thirsty :)
