Wasn't sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews but as we were in Burley that afternoon we decided to pop in. Easy place to find and a large car park although we walked from Burley (about 3 min... more »
Love this place. Maybe it's the excellent milkshakes maybe it's the relaxing atmosphere or maybe it's the wasps that are after your cider (probably not the last one but they have got better this year). One of my preferred places to visit on the rare occation I'm at home.
Great day out.... if they do it next year... I will go again. Loads of of old cider presses operated by steam engines... and great Cider music!
Totally delicious cream tea, really friendly service and great surroundings. I was really surprised that everything was freshly cooked and the scones tasted amazing. All great value for money.....we will be back.
Menus given to us at 3.45pm. At 4.20pm the waitress tells us food stops at 4pm Orders were taken from other tables at 4.10pm and 4.20pm. I get the feeling our custom isn't welcome here. It's a shame as it's a lovely summers day and now we will have to cycle back up the hill to another venue.
Superb food, friendly service. Amazing dry cider. I love this place
