  • Absolutely love this place. Have been many times. Can swing from being very busy to very quiet but nice atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. :)  more »
  • I always try to leave time on a New Forest trip to restock with their cider. Lovely stuff! I can also recommend the Kingston Black aperitif. I've always had a friendly reception, and the occasional ta...  more »
  • I can't believe it is nearly 10 years since I was last in the New Forest and able to visit Burley Cider. Back then I wrote in my review 'Wonderful fresh cider, hand made in a traditional way from loca...  more »
  • Had a late lunch here and had a wonderful time. The staff were busy but super friendly and really helpful in pointing out the vegan options for me. Had the veggie pattie which was to die for. Decor is plain, nothing fancy but overall had a lovely meal and will certainly be back.
  • Went here for lunch. Tasty food and friendly, efficient staff. The venue has plenty of seating, a garden and a cider shop attached to the building. There are also a couple of large pigs nearby that you can visit (unless you feel guilty after having the sausage sandwich!).
  • The soup (pea with mint) was amazing with an excellent real ham and onion chutney sandwich in excellent bread. Very impressive.
  • The Cider Pantry: best ever cheese scone. Strong contender for best ever chips. Superb veggie pattie in a bun. Cheaper than expected, even before experiencing the quality of the food. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good veggie and vegan choices.
  • Really disappointed since there wasn't much to see, the staff weren't that welcoming and I didn't like the cider. I've tried farm cider at plenty of other holiday locations and have always enjoyed it. But to me, the New Forest cider tasted partly oxidised, just like my own worst home-brew that has gone wrong. Perhaps I was unlucky and my batch was not typical, but I've never had to pour purchased cider down the drain. Hopefully I was just unlucky, but I'll not be going back to find out.
