  • The beach stank of sewage/drains and the mud was horrible as the tide went out. Very disappointing. We had to leave as the smell was sickening.

  • Had fish n chips from the brilliant galleon chip shop and sat on the seating area opposite the caley pub, we were there for around an hour and counted 27 rats mostly baby's with a few larger adults.

  • Great little beach. Was clean and not too busy. Locals were polite which is always a bonus. Kids crab fishing on the little pier, adults relaxing on deck chairs, families paddling in the sea. Just be careful of the jellyfish of which there are many.
  • Really enjoyed it. The beach was nice. The sea was clean. Parking was free. Red hot day but still plenty of room.
  • Personally not a fan of this beach/promenade. Very surprised to see so much talk of beautiful scenery! It's lots of concrete and run down shops. Views out to sea of sea defences, which are concrete grey. I guess it's all perspective though. The photos people have taken drew us in because it does look good but we didn't see it with the same eyes maybe. Not my cup of tea Not much to see or do either.
  • Nice enough little town along the North Wales coast. Beach is well kept and a decent selection of shops to visit. Pretty limited to a small area though so would only stay an hour or so.
  • I find this place very nice there has been a few alterations going on to improve it. Lovely walk along the front to get sea air after a nice lunch then get a lovely tub ice cream from the shop next to cafe.
