  • At 38, I was a little daunted by going for my first snowboarding lesson, but Denise and Justin were great at taking the class. Both had patience and time for the everyone. From the beginning they were...  more »

  • My sledging experience here was fantastic, and a good laugh! The staff looked after us from the moment we arrived, and ensured that we had a thoroughly good time. The food in the bar after was reasonable, and service was also quick and cheery. All in all, we had a great day here and will definitely be back.
  • Do not buy any vouchers for Snow Factor, I had bought a voucher for an ice climbing experience for 2 and I called three weeks before the voucher was due to expire expire to arrange my booking my session. I was then told on the phone when I tried to book that they had no places left and it was basically my own fault for not booking sooner even though there was weeks left before the expiry date. The stance from the operator on the phone was that it wasn't their problem and when I asked to speak to a manager there was no one available and to email in any complaint. When I did this I received a reply within 15 minutes, funny that when I had been told there was no one available on the phone just before I emailed. I was fed pretty much the same line in the email but when I responded saying I had went to their online portal it was still possible to book ice climbing sessions online so how come I couldn't get booked in I got no response. This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have come across in a long which was a shame as I was originally planning to do the ice climbing session to check out the facility before bring my family for some ski/snowboarding but think I'll just wait for the outdoor slopes to reopen now. Also having spoke to friends and found out about their own negative experiences at snow factor (instructors turning up late and not really bothered etc) I will giving this place I wide berth for sure.
  • Snow was very icy - both snow bashing machines had broken down and so the piste hadn't been groomed for 4 or 5 days. Could only really ski down a 2/3 metre channel next to the Poma on the China Buffet side. We were told about the snow conditions by staff and we're asked to take a look through the windows in Barvaria but that didn't really help tbh. We still had to pay full whack, £52 for 2hrs for two. I really think we should have been given a discount given the very poor conditions. Has certainly coloured my opinion of the quaility of skiing at Snow Factor and that making cash is held above customer satisfaction/enjoyment. I've related my experience to other regular skiers. A shame really.
  • Great lesson for my four year old this morning who had a great time and finally cracked the big slope. Instructor was called Dan B and a second instructor called Angus was also taking the "group" lesson which only had my son. Thanks again.
  • My partner and I did an ice climbing taster session. It was great fun and the instructor was good. I want to go again soon.
