  • unbelievable experience with a member of Staff called Robb who seems to enjoy picking on young teenage girls and making them cry in front of all the other customers. My girlfriend took her sister along with my daughter to Snow Factor on Saturday 9th of July. My Daughter has previously attended the easter snow camps where she was taught to board in Snow Factor. Before the girls even had their boots on the guy was over acting in a passive aggressive manner, he made my daughter so nervous about going out onto the snow she was actually shaking by the time she made it to the poma. When she had a little trouble with the poma she was told to leave by this guy Robb, He was being extra nasty by this point. My daughter hates confrontation, especially in public, so she bursts into tears in front of everyone. Robb, your lucky i was working. I don't think i would have been as calm as my girlfriend in dealing with the situation. Apparently you have a problem with females, according to your female work colleagues who seem to have problems with you too. Dear Snow Factor, thank you for ruining my daughters Saturday evening, Thanks for giving her a complex about snowboarding, and thanks for employing misogynistic staff to scare of female patrons. You only get one star because it's impossible to give less than this and the rest of your staff seem to understand the fact you're operating in a service industry and making customers cry on site is not on. This complaint has been forwarded to your head office and shared on all the local facebook groups and social media i can think of.
  • last sunday i had a skills 2 snowboarding lesson with douglas i really liked and i was surprised that we didn't stay on skills 2 heel edges etc because thats what i did at hillend when i went skiing but i was really happy too get through skills 2 +3 and i have my first tick on skills 4 definitely gonna book my next lesson soon
  • What a waste of time and money. I went on a reward trip with a select few in my year group in secondary school and had £30 robbed from me, as the majority of us were not aloud to ski or snowboard because we couldn't, which is somewhat fair, but those who had payed extra money for lessons didnt acctualy get them, we sat waiting for about an hour for nothing to happen. All in all a miserable day.
  • It's been a long time I wanted to try ice climbing and was really lucky to hear of Snow factor while visiting Glasgow! I took a 1.30 hours taster and had a lot of fun! My instructor Ruaidhri was really friendly and experienced climber. The course started with gear and safety advise and then way enough time on the wall until your arms burn! :)
  • Wanted to post a terrible experience we had a Snow Factor and warn customers of certain age limits on some events even if they don't inform you when booking. We were asked to remove a 5 year old from the taster sessions as a result of their mistake and then accused of it being our fault and ruining a family experience. Customer service post the issue was shocking, with the duty manager treating us horribly and then never receiving a call back from them. Eventually they admitted fault but not after I had to call them back. Worst customer experience in my whole life. Be warned. I've given this 1 star as I cant post with no stars.
