Arrow Valley Country Park Reviews
The town's gem; delightful space, well-kept paths, great play areas. Cafe needs attention and its outside seating area is scruffy with too many signs telling you what you can't do. Not very welcoming.... more »
We often walk our Cocker Spaniel in the Park - she is a very nervous dog but loves the smells and freedom the Park affords. The facilities at the Park are good but the cafe is a little expensive but t... more »

A great place for the kids. It's secure and they can have fun while you can relax
Very popular most days with families, dog walkers and people keeping fit by running around the lake. There's a good size cafe which overlooks the lake. Saturday mornings theres usually a good turn out for Park Run.
Great place to bring kids or just go for a nice walk! There are several playgrounds and also a lovely cafe with great views of the lake. The walk around the lake is perfect for dog walks and for taking nice photos too. There are plenty of pokestops and gyms around here for anyone playing Pokemon go! Parking is free.
Don't feed the birds bread as it's not good for them and is feeding the rat problem. The on site cafe sells reasonable priced food for them. Unfortunately that's were the reasonable pricing ends. Everything else is rather expensive.
A great place to play sports, walk your dog, go for a run and mountain bike. As well as the field there are multiple routes of smooth gravel paths. A very fun place to be, if you make it that way. The field consists of three football fields each with a pair of goals, no net. Many comments below think this to be the Arrow Valley COUNTRY Park. It is not and is in fact a bunch of fields. The lowest two fields (4 and 5, most south) are not good for dogs. I have heard numerous accounts of dogs coming back with pad paws and then chewing them open and not stopping, this includes my own dogs - probably sprayed chemicals on these fields!
