  • Scrumptious sandwiches and savoury snacks. Great range of delicious drinks for all tastes. Highly recommended.
  • Much more interesting than expected and really nicely cooked & presented food. Bit noisy (kids) as it is a visitor attraction / small museum but would happily return for lunch again.
  • Friendly, informal and full of interesting things. The food was absolutely first rate and we will be visiting again.

  • Great surroundings and a relaxed environment in 2 of the old gallery's high ceilinged rooms, much revamped. Good food selection, especially the bread based lunches which look small but seem to fill and the chips are a delight. Coffee is good, as are the teas though the more esoteric are a little pricey and lacking clout. Could do with somewhere to tie dogs up outside and somewhere to lock bikes up would be useful. Friendly folk, keen to please.
  • Really great coffee & hot chocolate at the cafe so will definitely be back for that! However, our experience was dampened by the staff & slow service. One of the ladies at the till appeared very annoyed at us whenever we went to order or pay. I didn't appreciate the accusatory glares when they forgot to take payment for our first round of drinks. We were told to take a seat & they'd bring them over, it's not like we were going to do a runner without paying! Huffing & puffing at us wasn't exactly welcoming either. Still the cafe & museum is situated in beautiful grounds so next time I'll be taking my coffee away.
  • Lovely staff although service can be a bit slow. Food is amazing and the museum is fantastic. The place itself is beatiful.
  • Fantastic environment for any occasion. Excellent food offering which is consistently delicious. Recommend to all!
  • They held an event called Brass on the Grass. Despite the weather everyone appeared to love it just as much as me xx great day out for free x
