  • long overdue visit to World of Owls on a Saturday afternoon. The place is an absolute joy. The drive through Randalstown and the forest sets the tone, very harry potter with a huge viaduct/train bridg...  read more »
  • Teens' and Tinies' Day out All of us enjoyed seeing so many different types of owls The deer in the woodlands were so good for our souls
  • A sanctuary for owls and other birds who have been rescued from various places. Spent about 90 minutes there looking at all the beautiful animals. Staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Im writing this review as a volunteer staff member, but if anything that says more as I am there everyday. The place is a fantastic place to visit, so many animals to see and most days the staff are very talkative (we do have our off days though, don't we all). You will always feel welcome here as a visitor as everything possible is done to accommodate any person willing to take a look around. In a nutshell this centre offers a friendly and informative afternoon out with lots of adorable feathery friends to see, what could possibly be better?
  • Upon entrance I was expecting the usual uninterested staff, which usually work at attractions such as this, boy was I wrong! The man who greeted us was extremely friendly, in fact by the end of the conversation we had made a new friend. This same attitude was displayed throughout the experience with the voluntary staff going out of their way to help and show off the wide variety of wildlife on display. As for the layout it was fantastic their wasn't a massive walk between exhibits and it felt very open and welcoming. The birds of prey were all very healthy and obviously taken very good care of, their enclosures were quite large and each bird looked very comfortable. The variety of birds was also impressive, coming from all over the world. Just when you think you have seen everything then you are introduced to the eagles and hawks which are openly perched with no enclosures which the workers are happy to let you observe and even touch the birds. Inside the main building their are a variety of lizards, spiders and other interesting creatures. Do not miss this attraction, you will be pleasantly surprised. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place.
  • amazing staff.plenty of space for kids.lovely day get to hold an owl, kids loved it
  • Spent an afternoon here. The staff (all volunteers) were very knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions we had about the animals. Got to meet and get up close with a few of the owls and hawks. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!
  • A lot of animals I've never seen live before. Very interesting place.
