  • Entrance fee for two adults and two 8 year old girls was £8. Free parking. The girls enjoyed spotting the fairy houses hidden on the trail. There is a Dinosaur trail as well. There are toilets in the ...  more »
  • The approach to reforest a former quarry is certainly laudable. Complain about but need to be the fact that it has made little effort in the relatively small area. In fact it happens not the impression one so like leaving just run wild nature and you have when you've consistently thought through the idea and planned. That you have to pay also entry about it, is more likely to look at as a donation for the idea. Who has seen it all so in Ramsgate and environment, can the Monkton nature reserve pay a visit. For everyone else but there are goals lohnendere a lot in the immediate vicinity.

  • I took my 4 year old Grandson today , and to any parents/grandparents who do not wish to see the young 'uns stuck in front of a TV screen I cannot recommend it too highly. The entrance fees are indeed very modest and the exhibits plentiful and fascinating , plus a massive selection of books and some very cheap toys with a nature theme.......not at all heavy on the wallet ! We spent a lovely couple of hours doing the nature trails and spotting the insect life..............and he thought the "Bat Cave" was great. We even "scrumped" a few blackberries on our way round. The young volunteers were friendly and very helpful , and I have no doubt that we will be back. We particularly want to get to the observatory. Well done to everybody concerned , and I have to say that all the other parents and kids who were there seemed to feel the same.
  • Kids into science so loved the museum. The birds of prey were also great. Just wished we had remembered to bring lunch as there were lots of lunch benches so we could have stayed longer.
  • Lovely exhibits, a great relaxing walk around and very well priced. Helpful and friendly employees.
  • After having driven past on countless occasions we decided to have a look and were surprised at how big the place is! It would be easy to spend the day here if you brought lunch and are happy with natural surroundings. Nice place to bring the kids too to give them a break from electronic entertainment!
  • Fantastic place extremely cheap my son thoroughly enjoyed hunting dinosaurs
