  • This is a hidden little gem, full of social history, untouched relics from the past all add to the atmosphere, a must for history buffs and families, loads of room to run, stroll and have a great cup of tea, the ladies in the information centre are a mine ( forgive the pun) of information and happy to chat.
  • A lovely family friendly visitor centre with info about local industrial heritage. However, it's the site itself that is of most interest, including the Cornish beam engine, brickworks and other remnants of the towns industrial past.
  • Open air mining and brickmaking museum
  • Great dog walking area with plenty of woods to explore
  • Really enjoyed our visit here. Fascinating to get some insight into our industrial past. Lovely coffee and staff extremely friendly and helpful.
