  • Not too far from home for me but love this site. We've been taking our lad here since he was 9 and it's always his first choice for a night away. Seen a couple of reviews that mention nothing to do for kids, it's a quiet site in the countryside next to a river with lovely access paths so loads of skimming to be done, fishing in the ponds and a pay park with a few swings etc. Admittedly no amusement arcades etc (thank god) but with a midges of imagination there's loads for kids. Toilet block is near the main entrance, toilets and showers spotless, pitches laid out well( bit of mud sometimes...blame the weather). Stepping stones bar and restaurant on the site is well priced and great food. Only niggle is the narrow access road which will only accept one van at a time up the hill. Other than that great little site.
  • Lovely setting. Staff very polite and accommodating. Facilities great and restaurant food 1st class.
  • Really brilliant caravan and camping site one of best I go too went last week for Halloween and back this week for bonfire night can't wait..owner is a great guy..
  • Nice site, great facilities. Pitches are a little on the small side made worse by cars parking by the pitch. Would be better with a separate car park as many sites do. Very well kept, very helpful and friendly staff.
  • Staff were lovely, very easy to talk to and personable Went to the restaurant and the steak and ale pie is delicious! Cottage we stayed in was brilliant as well Great park for kids and easy access to the river to play in as well
