  • Nice even on a windy day. Nice for a walk towards the millennium walk, or just superb location seeing the ships pass. Just as descending the stairs there are nice arches for photographic enthusiasts. Ideal place to greet & wave to family arriving from holiday xxx
  • Fab views of the Portsmouth harbour entrance and can see why it was used as a defensive position by the military years ago. Really interesting part of a historical complex that housed canons. Could quite happily sit there for hours to watch the naval traffic. Definitely a must see if doing a tour of some the naval history of the area.
  • I love this place. You can stand here for hours and watch the ever changing scenery, so much going on. Also the British naval history lay around this place is fascinating, back to the days when the Royal Navy was a true force.
  • The Round Tower is a great place to visit and to view from. Unfortunately being Ex HM coastguard in Portsmouth it's a place where lots of children like to jump into the sea from. Please don't it's so dangerous and the sea will take you under. Keep safe by the sea.
  • Great place to watch ships entering and leaving Portsmouth harbour, the tower is joined to the square tower by a large wall that you can walk along full of history if you stop and look at placks on walls. Under the tower is a very nice cafe serving breakfasts lunchtime meals tea and coffee with great views well worth visit
