  • Have always loved visiting this model village with my children, it's slightly hidden away from road so not too busy. Good lay out & also nice little cafe
  • It's great to see that this place has been brought and is currently undergoing a lot of work to get it back to its former glory. It's brilliant to bring my two young children to a place that I loved v...  read more »
  • I took a 5 year old and she loved it, raced around spotting the trains, houses shops etc. She loved climbing up to the castle and the funfair. I enjoyed the visit as it reminded me of my own childhood...  read more »
  • Needs some work (but it's clear the team are trying really hard to tidy things up), but a lovely little model village with several trains running round. The castle and picnic tables on the hill are brilliant (though only for less windy days). Lots of other models on display as well that can be easily missed (the tunnel is a particular highlight). Look out for the Harry Potter house too.
  • We were there two years ago - my 7 & 5 yr old grandchildren were thrilled. I was impressed too. I am sure that with more money and proper support he could make it look much better - but its just right. A lot of thought and care and attention. Very reasonably priced too. We plan to visit it again next week during our holiday on the south coast Highly recommended!
  • i revisited here after many many years and although had a nice afternoon i found that seeing the buildings covered in cobwebs and the little garden full of weeds not flowers as they were in my young days,,i was rather saddened bit ,,but still feel it is value for money ,,but defo needs a bit of love and care
  • Nice small model village near the sea, cheap entrance. Worth it.
  • We went to the "Village on Thursday 4 th September. I had already read a review about it being ramshackle, that was definitely right. Quite disappointing. The actual litter bin was full to over flowing. As they never opened till 11-30 AM the day we went, that bins rubbish must have been from the day before, as there were not many people there. It has got potential to be a great Model Village, but needs a lot of renovating. 2014
