  • A little bit of history, well laid out and incredibly informative. Everything is free, including the guided tours. Firing of big guns for spectators and some interactive displays. Coffee shop and themed gift shop tops it all off. Well worth a day out.
  • Great afternoon out with the kids. Interesting for grownups as well. Plenty to see and do and it's free. Watching the gun being fired is worth timing your visit for.
  • Dramatically improved services for catering vast collection of artillery pieces well displayed and protected. Information well displayed and something for all ages to enjoy
  • A great visit if you like guns of the heavy gauge military variety, but interesting anyway for the history of the fort. Firing the 1pm gun was very entertaining, and very loud!
  • A place depicting years of history together. The cannons displayed are worth praising.. Each and every display also has the description giving you the idea about how it works. The 1 o'clock cannon shot is worth mentioning as well.
