  • Plenty of shops and restaurants in an open outside location. Good for a walk around with quite a bit of history on display.
  • Plenty of outlet shops where you can pick up bargains. Car parking facilities excellent or the train station is close by. The place is better than most as you are by the sea and can go for a walk by t...  read more »

  • A couple of shops I actually shop in. HMV, Cadburys, the book shop. The rest more for window shopping. Maybe I'm cheap. Nice for a stroll around. Some good bars for a relaxed drink out.
  • The Adidas shop refused to exchange or refund on a pair of tights that had a small hole on them caused by the security tag. We were told that the tag is never put on that side of the leg, but I then showed other tights from around the store which have the tags in the same place as the hole on ours. The staff and manager was very brash with myself my wife and our young daughter in front of a shop full of customers, telling us that we had caused the damage yourself and were trying it on. So a trip down from Southampton, parking all wasted over a pair of £21 tights, not really worth all the hassle just to try it on. My advice is to make sure that there is no damage straight after the security tag has been removed or just go to the Nike store instead.
  • Gunwharf is always a great day out if you are comfortable in busy areas. A great range of shops, restaurants, and night clubs. All modern buildings. Spinnaker tower with coffee shop at the top. View of Ferry channel from the sea front.
  • Gunwharf Quays is a great shopping day out. It can be quite costly though for outlet stores. But at the end of the day, they are designer outlet stores. Window shopping does me fine. What I love about Gunwharf though is the huge variety in places to eat. I'm still working my way through them!
  • Good if you enjoy designer outlet shopping. There have been lots of coming and goings over the years from certain manufacturers but all in all a fairly good selection of outlets
