  • Ok to visit but its in Gosport, which is hell to get into & hell to get out off. Prepare for long traffic queues.  more »

  • Part of a line of five forts one of which was demolished. The other three forts are still on MOD land and so are generally inaccessible. When open Fort Brockhurst gives a chance to see an almost original Victorian artillery fortification. There are others in the area but the only other one that has the same level of public access is Fort Nelson which is of a completely different design.
  • Made the big mistake of not checking opening hours. Looks great, but I will know more after I go back, when it's open
  • Its a great place to visit when its open
  • Interesting. Well worth a visit.
