  • The d-day museum is undergoing a renovation and is closed at this time. Coincidentally there was a pop up exhibition just outside the city on the day that we were in Portsmouth. On this exhibition were a number of items from the museum. A guide has given us much information about the items and d-day. Very special was that there was a 95-year-old man who himself participated in d-day.

  • You know the story of June 6, 1944 tragically but reality. The Museum in Sothsea/Portsmouth is directly by the sea and is for history lovers certainly a Beuch worth

  • Nice museum, clean and friendly staff. Quite pricey for a small place but it does have some unique and informative exhibits.
  • A great day out, and something we must never forget
  • Closed for renovations. Opening Spring 2018.
  • It's so expensive for such a small museum. If the price was lower I'd say definitely check it out!
  • Excellent museum, I really enjoyed the aspects of daily life in Portsmouth that were included. My group was able to meet and talk to a British WWII and D-Day veteran while there. The tapestry is absolutely amazing!
