  • A short walk from the Square.A picturesque harbour. Colourfully painted houses ,so nice. Avoid the nearby Cafes as they are so dear. Scenery wow.
  • Perhaps it may seem a Bay as another, especially Italians accustomed to the Ligurian coast or bells, but on Skye there's an atmosphere from world's end that makes it unique. Small Bay accessible from the city centre.

  • There is not really much to do in Portree, it is very small. Colorful houses are the strong point, it's quaint and makes good a picture. On the other hand, it is in this small town that is one of the best fish and chips in Scotland (it is in the small colorful houses), and that's just famous. I had the chance to eat this famous fish & chips at a sunny page Sunday, it was a moment of pure happiness.

  • Stopping at the harbour while in Portree is an absolute must. It's a picturesque setting down at the Portree Harbour, Quay St, Portree, Highland IV51 9DE, UK.
