  • I love this place. Run by volunteers, you sometimes have a bit of a wait in the Lido cafe which can be accessed from the pool area via a hatch, but hey, the staff are working for free. Plenty of space to stretch out on the terraces beside the pool. During very hot weather it does understandably get very busy, so probably best to avoid unless you don't mind queuing. Pool is spacious and clean and there is a smaller paddling pool for younger children. Life guards on duty are very vigilant. Changing rooms are dated but considering the whole site was saved from dereliction by the local community, this can easily be forgiven. Excellent value for money.
  • Brought my daughter and grandchildren here yesterday for the first time in 50 years! We were all delighted with the whole experience! The Lido had been refurbished, whilst still keeping its original identity. The water was warm and changing rooms, toilets and showers were all very clean. The refreshments kiosk offered drinks and snacks at unexpectedly reasonable prices. We all had a really lovely time! Many thanks to all involved in the refurbishment and running of the Lido - my happy childhood memories are still intact! I hope to bring my other 5 grandchildren very soon!
  • Access is relatively cheap at £5 considering you have the possibility of staying a good few hours. Lovely atmosphere on a sunny day, amazing amenity to have and well looked after.
  • Brilliant day out. Plenty of space. The staff are diligent and friendly. The reason I dropped it to 4 stars is because I think the changing rooms could be a little cleaner - and the staged area could be cleaned up a few times during the day.
  • Water was good and they did there best to make sure everyone had time in the water. I think the 20 min in and out was good. If there weren't too many queuing u could join the queue and get back in. Kids loved it. Staff were friendly and nice x
