  • Having this park on our doorstep is wonderful. The walks are interesting and the animal area is great for both adults and children. I love the views and the house itself is amazing. It would be great if the likes of Anthony Hopkins sent a few thousands to help renovate it. Doubt he'd miss it. For the price of the car park, you can spend many happy hours with children. Bring a picnic and enjoy this wonderful space.
  • Went there on Sunday for Father's Day, what a great place to visit, you can do as little or as much as you wish to do, we had chill under a tree with a picnic, and played a few games too. The train is a great thing for the kids and was quite cheap too £2 adult and £1 kids. We live local so well worth getting a season pass for £23. Great day out!
  • Margam Park is a great location for a family day out and picnic paying only £5.40 for parking entry is free. The land is vast and the wildlife is very much present. Ducks to deers and a lot in between. A good child's play area and fairytale village which does need a lick of paint and a polish to say the least. All round fantastic trip I just wish we could explore the castle a bit more as you can only walk around the bottom of the stairs.
  • Great place to take kids with free entry and about £5 to park. There are a few parks, nice walks, and things to do. Some of the little houses could be maintained better but on the whole a good day out.
  • Beautiful grounds But it's quite a trek to get around .. lots of walking uphill. . Which I don't think really comes across on the little guide map . Also the parking is quite steep if your only going for a couple of hours
