  • We have been visiting this pottery for years and this half term was no exception. However it was, without doubt ,the LAST time we shall ever set foot in that place. I took my 4 children to do their own pottery painting , an annual activity they love, when we went to collect our items one had been lost one had been damaged and a third was simply incorrect ,tho it had our number on it.Only 1 piece out of 4 was actually ok!! It was absolutely shambolic. Disheartened and with 3 very upset children we went downstaires to the pottery shop expecting to find the usual lovely and unusual pieces that the pottery is well known for...nothing doing.Trite little pieces of junk filled the room rather than the carefully crafted pieces expected. Really disappointed at this point a quick trip to the loo showed that the couldn't care less attitude had extended itself to the cleanliness of the facilites - which were disgusting. Normally i would have told families this was a great place to visit in the past, but after last weeks experiences i would tell you to avoid it like the plague and find somewhere with competant staff, at least some basic standards of cleaning and stock that doesnt look like it should be at a flea market, to visit instead.
  • Always worth a look when you are in the area. Besides the studio there is an eclectic mix of other household goods
  • British pottery at it's finest, nicely displayed at affordable prices.
  • I have being buying pottery from here for years great place to go and watch the pottery being made great cafe and it's right on poole Quay
  • Nice place with a large selection of home decor not just pottery items. It's also home to a large selection of Denby pottery. On occasion there are also members of staff making objects from clay for you to observe during your shop.
