  • Volunteer staffed museum with an incredible insight into the history of the RNLI and Poole. Great little gift shop too, ask for a bag of the Seagull Droppings!
  • A wonderful example of how brave the RNLI an especially knowing that they are all volunteers. The boat in the shed is from the 1940s in was used in the Second World War II rescue ship mate. The boat is far from technical and and is very basic compared to today's boats. This is well worth a visit as it is free and it gives you a wonderful insight into the history of the service. All the service of is that you had a small donation at the ends and I would implore everyone to do so.
  • A great story of the RNLI and what they have accomplished so far
