  • Really interesting zoological gardens. It's not a huge place but there are some rare species like the capybara. The staff are also friendly, knowledgeable and happy to talk about the different species.
  • Lovely family days out here plenty to do and lots to see . Have been here many times over the years and enjoy it every time I visit .
  • Nice enough place not loads of animals to see. There are rabbits, guinnea pigs etc and fish. Wanted to have some lunch there. The only place open to eat was conservatory which was far too small and packed. So didn't eat!!!! We had our 2year old with us she wasn't that interested in the place. Also I am in a wheelchair and it wasn't that wheelchair friendly. Wouldn't rush back.
  • Great venue with a old hall, woodland walk, walled garden adventure play, zip slide and zoo. Some attractions require an additional fee. Café on site.
  • Zoo was pleasant and compact. The Capybaras are noble and calm. The riverside walk was also lovely.
