  • West Hoe park has been a staple destination of many local families for years. With safety flooring under the swings etc it is a safe place for little ones except for the oldest piece of equipment - There is a solid concrete train that children can climb on and, although this has been in the park for many years, it was put there when health and safety was not considered. Also available at West Hoe Park is the crazy golf and other paid activities, such as a children's ride on train and bouncy castle. Please note that many of the paid activities are both weather dependent and only open during the summer.
  • I love this park. It's really fun especially in the summer when the theme park is open & the train ride. But none the less, perfect for kiddies all year round 😀
  • Lovely place to visit with kids. Rides are cheap at only 50p per person. Great cafe and a lovely ice cream van parked just over the road. Looses a star because it could be neater (especially around the rides) and on a Saturday later afternoon when we went there was quite a lot of rubbish that had been left through the day.
  • Lovely place to see the view and the kids loved the rides they had there. Even better, I loved the price of the rides. 50p per person. What a relief when you have 3 children. Can't wait to go back
  • Good place for fammilys ,picnicks etc public toilets.good for yoga etc

Where to stay in Plymouth

Lodging in Plymouth range from stylish brand names and cozy B&Bs, to affordable self-catering apartments and private inns. To be near the city's main attractions, stay near the waterfront. Farther inland, you can explore a world of less expensive but just as comfortable boutique hotels and hostels, all within walking distance of the city's finest shops, restaurants, and bars. For an even less expensive alternative, consider staying in the quiet suburbs. Though a bit far from the city center, suburban hotels offer top-quality rooms at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains.
