  • Once this pool was free (municipal administration) and therefore always crowded by the most interesting characters of Plymouth. On sunny days in the summer could happen to find the owner of a shop that had closed only to enjoy some sunshine ... Since you pay the attendance has dropped dramatically and for those who say this is not English has lost all reason to visit the lido.

  • 1920's decadance brought to life, this is a fantastic pool, deep enough for diving and 50m wide at the widest stretch.
  • Amazing..use it or lose it. Stop looking over railings. Get in the pool and enjoy. One of the best attractions that Plymouth can boast
  • Gorgeous view from the pool, and the pool itself is quite good. Unfortunately, it was rather chilly when I went, but still enjoyed myself.
  • Just finished the day with the kids {7 and 4} and was one of the nicest pools of any description I've been to. Sure it's a bit tatty in parts, but that only adds to the charm. One of Plymouth's best kept secrets, that's really under used.
  • great refurbished Art Deco lido - but water is very cold, it's worth taking a wetsuit
