Where to stay in Plymouth

Lodging in Plymouth range from stylish brand names and cozy B&Bs, to affordable self-catering apartments and private inns. To be near the city's main attractions, stay near the waterfront. Farther inland, you can explore a world of less expensive but just as comfortable boutique hotels and hostels, all within walking distance of the city's finest shops, restaurants, and bars. For an even less expensive alternative, consider staying in the quiet suburbs. Though a bit far from the city center, suburban hotels offer top-quality rooms at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains.

  • Went to watch some live comedy there recently. Venue has a good "mixing" pot of different gigs on offer. Not the biggest of venues so obviously not all of the performers will travel this far south. Only negative is the venue is slightly dated and like I said it is slightly to small for the major acts of today.
  • Some good gigs here. Staff and managment are very helpful. Sorted a problem for us when we missed a gig when my son broke his arm.
  • Good venue for comedians, even though the queue was long because of the time we arrived I was surprised by the speed of which we still got in the door.
  • Went for basketball, a good night out but looks like it would work perfectly for comedy or music.
  • Staff try quickly to get you in but there is not the right size of facilities needed for this
