  • Fabulous informative afternoon out. Visited whilst waiting on a ferry connection, but could easily spend all day in front of the tanks just watching the fish & sharks...it's hypnotic! All the kids seemed to be having a whale of a time (sorry!) and the staff are great. Some info boards need a touch up, but that's the only fault I can find. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
  • Steep entry price (£30 for an adult and a child) but if you can make it back the next day or 2, totally worth it! Small enough to see everything in 2 hours, including a couple presentations. Clean, mostly in good shape except for a few worn out displays. Engaging educational areas. Simply amazing shark and ray tanks. Smaller tanks are just as mesmerizing. Knowledgeable staff.
  • Great day out! Nice sized aquarium with a vast variety of things to look at. Also a great cafe with a variety of hot and cold food available. We managed to catch the dive show where the presenter was great and very enthusiastic. I would like to see a bit more marine fish as this is my personal passion but they still had a good selection of clowns, puffers, lionfish and more to look at! Oh and the best bit, you pay once and can come back for a whole year!!
  • A fun day out for family members of all ages. We went during the Easter weekend, which was really busy, but we still managed to go round and see everything without too much trouble. Some of the displays were closed and there's a new display being built - I look forward to seeing the end results. It's great that the tickets allow you to return again as many times as you like during the year too!
  • Very expensive but a nice place to take the kids. The big aquarium is amazing 🐠. Parking is not on site but is only a short walk away. It is not an all day trip.... We were done in 2.5 hours Inc lunch. We got a free annual return pass for adding gift aid. Nice and reasonably priced food in the food hall.
