  • Lovely places to go which is steeped in history! I know they are only steps, but the history surrounding this area is truly amazing, plus there is so much to do around this beautiful place, even if you just gaze at the boats, drift along, or possibly enjoy something to eat or drink in the many outlets this area has to offer.
  • The Mayflower Memorial is where the Mayflower sailed to the new world in 1620. Be sure to ask the One Small Candle Pilgrims for a quirky walking tour of the areas where the Mayflower berthed and where the Pilgrims stayed and played. Call 07538 199694
  • It is 1 of the most historic places in Plymouth and we'll it is what it it. Loads of info. Good food and very livery at night. Ps if you play ingress 400 portals in walking distance
  • Great piece of history! It changed the world
  • Plymouth makes no where near enough of its historic past although things are about to change with a new 'History Centre' soon to be built. These steps are only commemorative; they're on land reclaimed since the Mayflower set sail. However, they're well maintained (at long last) and nicely illuminated at night. There just isn't much to see though...but the Plymouth Barbican as a whole is worth a visit.
