  • This was a brief stop for morning coffee and a cake both of which we enjoyed. Sitting by the window and looking out over the bay made the occasion special for us.
  • Steps leading down to the water may or may not have been the exact sport where this famous ship departed England.
  • Plymouth makes no where near enough of its historic past although things are about to change with a new 'History Centre' soon to be built. These steps are only commemorative; they're on land reclaimed since the Mayflower set sail. However, they're well maintained (at long last) and nicely illuminated at night. There just isn't much to see though...but the Plymouth Barbican as a whole is worth a visit.
  • This is a beautiful photo spot, on a good day. The views are great, of both the sea and nearby ships. The barbican is of course nearby, with all the amenities it offers.
  • An enjoyable boat trip runs from the bottom of the steps. It lasts about an hour and a half with commentary.
  • Picturesque and historic location In Plymouth's Barbican area.
  • In an interesting party of Plymouth, but the steps themselves aren't very dramatic.
