  • This is a good soft play place for young children, as well as older children and young teenagers. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance, as well as a ramp that moves upwards to the soft play area, from the reception area. There is a free car park outside, and there are toilets in the reception area. Birthday parties are usually held here, and there are small rooms in the building when children can go for party food and cake, and play in the soft play area before food.
  • Well equipped soft play area with (pricey) refreshments available. Great when it's quiet. Hell on Earth when it gets busy.
  • Many children, if asked, would probably choose Jump as their favourite soft play purely because of its size. However, from a parental point of view Drakes Den feels much safer. This is because it is easier to supervise due to seating being much closer to the play area. It is also more open, allowing an easier view of children. There is a huge car park outside and parking has never been a problem. It is also generally cheaper than Jump. My only criticism is that they sometimes charge for adult entry. Believe me, I'm not visiting for my own entertainment! Regardless, this is a great soft play area.
  • My kids love this place and the play part is fantastic. The food is expensive for what you getand that is the only reason it isn't a 5 star review. Apart from that the entry price is reasonable and a great day out for the kids
  • It's great for birthday parties. My 3rd birthday was held there! And the soft. Play area is great for children and toddlers. The toilets are fairly clean, way cleaner than the ones at Jump in Crownhill. There is also

Where to stay in Plymouth

Lodging in Plymouth range from stylish brand names and cozy B&Bs, to affordable self-catering apartments and private inns. To be near the city's main attractions, stay near the waterfront. Farther inland, you can explore a world of less expensive but just as comfortable boutique hotels and hostels, all within walking distance of the city's finest shops, restaurants, and bars. For an even less expensive alternative, consider staying in the quiet suburbs. Though a bit far from the city center, suburban hotels offer top-quality rooms at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains.
