  • This a great park, things for the children to do, a lovely wooden park a great cafe and lots of seats to rest your legs. Good for running or walking the dog, great grass areas and some great views too  more »

  • Devonport park is truly one of the jewels in Plymouth's crown. With recent investment the park has been renovated with lovely new paths and lighting. The council and a wonderful team of volunteer gardeners create spectacular floral beds and the range of trees is exceptional. Some people rate the cafe highly but personally I don't rate the coffee.
  • Dog walkers and children can easily spend a few hours in the recently refurbished public park. During the summer the park plays host to many family friendly events, details can be found on the website. The toilets here are clean but you have to ask in the cafe for the key 🗝
  • Very pretty place to walk around. There is a lovely little cafe in the middle that do hot food and drink. Dogs welcome. There is street parking either side of the park.
  • Great Park nice and clean. Good cafe and play equipment for children. For the more energetic there are also tennis courts available. Parking can be tricky.
  • Great park, lovely play area for the kid's. Wonderful cafe where you can enjoy a simple coffee to a full roast dinner. Park and cafe dog friendly so if you are not keen probably best to avoid. Can be busy at peak times e.g 3-6pm

Where to stay in Plymouth

Lodging in Plymouth range from stylish brand names and cozy B&Bs, to affordable self-catering apartments and private inns. To be near the city's main attractions, stay near the waterfront. Farther inland, you can explore a world of less expensive but just as comfortable boutique hotels and hostels, all within walking distance of the city's finest shops, restaurants, and bars. For an even less expensive alternative, consider staying in the quiet suburbs. Though a bit far from the city center, suburban hotels offer top-quality rooms at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains.
