Where to stay in Plymouth

Lodging in Plymouth range from stylish brand names and cozy B&Bs, to affordable self-catering apartments and private inns. To be near the city's main attractions, stay near the waterfront. Farther inland, you can explore a world of less expensive but just as comfortable boutique hotels and hostels, all within walking distance of the city's finest shops, restaurants, and bars. For an even less expensive alternative, consider staying in the quiet suburbs. Though a bit far from the city center, suburban hotels offer top-quality rooms at a fraction of the cost of the big hotel chains.

  • Beautiful view of the sound, rarely busy. Small cafe nearby and short walk to royal william yard. People also fish off the rocks here.
  • during the day its great picnic venue, come midnight its a great venue for those with a adventurous sexual appetite, many a folk can be seen dogging and taking in the great sea views. be careful of the tidal forces if you fancy swimming here. great for Pokemon/Ingress fans aswell
  • Great place to see sunset. In april anyway. Great views in daylight. Havent been at night so didnt see anything unusual
  • It's like a run down neglected tourist attraction with a small and badly maintained car park. Lots of litter and dog poo. The council does try to keep it clean but the visitors don't.
  • Good place for a bit of dogging. Loads of people up for pretty much anything and I mean anything!
